Allez Ouest brought four singer songwriters on the Franco-Albertan scene together to create a rootsy powerhouse. Joel Lavoie, Jason Kodie, Mireille Moquin and I toured Alberta and represented Alberta at the Olympics in Vancouver, at Alberta Scene in Ottawa and at the Smithsonian Folkways Festival in D.C. Allez Ouest was awarded the City of Edmonton’s Arts and Culture Award, was featured in a national Radio-Canada broadcast, and our CD “Hybride” was nominated for WCMA Francophone Album of the Year.
